Please remember though that you cannot ski in Aviemore. It is the name of the village 11 miles away from the ski slopes of CairnGorm Mountain.

We are situated 18 miles from the Day Lodge but as you do not have to drive through Aviemore, you can avoid the inevitable traffic and be home in front of the fire in the same time as it can take to get to Aviemore for the slopes!

Also, if Cairngorm is snowbound, you are already halfway to the alternative at the Lecht which is only 20 miles away.
