Paper: can be taken to the paper bin behind the Community Centre only 200 yards away.
The 'green' recycling bin is for cans, bottles & plastics: Yellow recycling trugs can be used for collecting cans, bottles & plastics for recycling indoors, making it easier to transfer them to the large green bin outside.
Silver skip: for all other rubbish including food waste as unfortunately as a self-catering property we are unable to manage a compost heap.
To reduce the impact and numbers of rubbish collections we ask our customers to ensure that all rubbish is flattened fully, including plastic bottles.
The bins are collected, on demand, on a Thursday. If the rubbish is not flattened additional uplift may be required, at an cost to the group, creating unnecessary waste of fuel and manpower.
