Nethy House This old house is full of character and though showing its age is very popular with our groups. It is a budget alternative for families and groups who do not want to pay for a castle, lodge, or group of chalets, and many of our customers return time and time again!
Abernethy Bunkhouses-Nethy House has triple bunks, allowing greater flexibility; you can fill the house, to make it even cheaper per head but you only pay for the number you bring!
Nethy Station is a modern conversion of the old railway station that used to serve Nethy Bridge until 1963. The Speyside Way now runs along the site of the disused track.
Abernethy Bunkhouses-Nethy Station is a little more basic than Nethy House but still provides somewhere warm and comfortable to return to after a hard day in the 'hills' or a gentle day touring the distilleries! A very popular property with stags and hens!
We aim to provide good value accommodation that is suitable for all ages and types of group. There is so much to do in this area. The longer you stay, the more you'll find to do! Did you know that we are in the Cairngorms National Park. Nethy Bridge is ideal for activities or 'chilling out'! The Speyside Way runs alongside us and the spectacular scenery of Badenoch & Strathspey brought the BBC to film 'Monarch of the Glen'.
Good roads and a central location, mean much of Scotland is only a day-trip away. We are half-way between two ski areas for a wide variety of winter activities.
Tennis courts (payment into an honesty box), a football field and play area are within a few hundred yards.
Biking is wonderful on our quiet roads and paths. We have a large garage at Nethy House for all groups to use
We do have a wee corner with its own front door, shower room, sitting room and simple cooking facilities. Available for visiting 'dignitaries', coach drivers or group leaders & their partners.
If you are not a large group, then we have neighbours at the Lazy Duck in Nethy Bridge who offer camping and a charming hostel. We can also recommend Ardenbeg in Grantown.
If the time that you wish to travel is not available then please have a look at Cairngorms Hostels for other places within the Cairngorms National Park or Scottish Independent Hostels
